Fully Trained Uniformed Security Officers

All Security Officers deployed by our company will be smartly presented in full uniform at all times during their Tour of Duty.

Security Officers assigned by our company, are conversant with all aspects of security procedures including fire fighting and first aid.

All Security Officers employed on site will receive regular inspections whilst on duty, by a Senior Supervisor, thus maintaining a high standard of awareness and service on site.

They will be fully briefed before they begin an assignment and will be fully aware of all duties they have to perform.

The Officer will carry out regular foot patrols around the guarded area, checking all relevant aspects of the assignment.

The Officer will be fully aware of any other duties he may have to undertake to make the area safe when work is not in progress.

The Officer will make every effort to prevent incidents of vandalism and theft from occurring, although, it must be appreciated that there can be no guarantee that incidents will not occur.

Should an incident occur, the Officer will deal with it in an efficient manner, following set instructions for reporting and informing all relevant persons.

Any Officer involved in an incident that may run past the end of his Tour of Duty, will remain on duty until a Supervisor relieves him or the incident is handed to the relevant authorities.

At the end of each Tour of Duty, the Officer will provide a report for the attention of the Site Manager.

Security Warning Notices will be placed at various points around the guarded area, before the first Tour of Duty begins, at no extra charge, thus providing additional security cover.

The guarded area will be inspected at regular intervals by a Security Surveyor and Operations Manager, to ascertain any new security risks that may occur and to discuss any further alterations to existing arrangements.

RECRUITMENT It is our company policy to employ in the main, ex-forces personnel, or people with security experience. All details of previous history are extensively checked and all references are followed up. Should a particular part of previous history or references not come up to standard, the applicant will not be employed by Securetask Security Limited.

SUPERVISION All Officers will make a series of check calls to control during his Tour of Duty, after informing control that he is on duty, he is told at what time he is to make his next call. Should that call not be received, the control will try to make contact, if contact cannot be made, the nearest Mobile Supervisor will be dispatched immediately to investigate, and the police informed. This procedure is repeated throughout all Tours of Duty, with random return calls being made by control to ensure that the officer is in fact where he says he is. Mobile Supervisors will also call on the officer at random, to inspect the officer and ensure that there are no problems with the assignment.

BACK UP Securetask Officers are able to make contact with control and senior officers to summon assistance or advice at all times. In the event of an incident occurring, a Senior Supervisor will be dispatched immediately to assist the officer, whilst control contacts the relevant authorities. All officers are fully conversant with incident procedures. All assignments will have at least one extra officer trained for that particular job, to provide immediate cover should an officer be taken ill, etc.
